Basketball Playoffs?

When Mr. Wilson and I first started dating I wooed him with my extensive knowledge of sports. I knew all of the players, all the playoff dates; heck I even had a big screen television. To top it off, one of our first dates was to watch a NBA playoff game. So it is understandable that my husband feels duped.

It is now the NBA playoffs with the Miami Heat and Detroit Piston’s playing tonight. Of course I am uninterested. I want to watch HGTV, TLC, Court TV; basically anything but basketball. Since my husband and I are still newlyweds he likes to sit with me and watch my shows. In between commercials he flips to the game to catch the score. I immediately turn the channel back to Flip This House and he just signs.

He laughs and says that I fooled him with my love of sports. So I ask if you knew from the beginning that I would not watch basketball forever would you marry me. His reply, “Of course I would have”. I’m sure if your husband poured it on this thick you would cave and say “let’s cuddle and watch superfine Dwayne Wade and the rest of the Miami Heat”. Not me, I asked him if he could make me a sandwich and watch TV in the other room.

Point is ladies, I am very difficult to live with; but I know for sure that my husband loves me. I too love him more and more each day and if my sandwich is good I may go cuddle with him and watch superfine Mr. Dwayne Wade.

I love the honesty! I love the web page! Keep it coming Tanika Renee. Dwayne Wade is worth missing a little Lifetime Television every now and then.I mean, how many times can we watch a woman fall in love with a murderer? Or Tori Spelling and her bad acting? You already know the ending of all those movies. Love Ya!
