One of the best things about being married is having companionship. You always have that person by your side when you need them. This person gets to see the good, the bad, and the ugly thus the vows for better or for worse. When you are in the newlywed stage, such as me, it seems like you can never seem to spend enough time with your spouse.
But the best part of companionship is someone to share your chores with.
I was presented with this great opportunity yesterday when Mr. Wilson was home alone. Mr. Wilson planned on using this time to relax and handle his affairs; i.e. oil change, fix tire, and wash his car. In my mind it was a chance for me to catch up on my personal affairs without being home; i.e. clean the bathrooms, vacuum the floors, clean the kitchen, pick up the dry cleaning and cook dinner.
My husband, being near perfect, did not have a problem with this at all. I am starting to realize that I no longer have to do it all by myself nor is my way the only way. My husband did a great job, so what it took him 8 hours and several trips to the store to complete what typically takes me 2 hours. The point is I appreciate his help.
Who knows ladies maybe I am changing….

now that's deep. i wish mine would take 8 hours to clean something. he's a great sleeper though, but what can you do? you learn to love them where they are. if i whine loud enough i usually get what i want. maybe he likes to hear mine whine, go figure. you'll see alot of change within the next year or two, besides calvin's a sweetheart anyway, like his brother said "its a good thang" love ya
